Dedicating the King Air

God opened up the heavens and poured out His numerous blessings on Agape Flights last weekend. The plan was a celebration to dedicate the King Air to God (much like a baby dedication, we all pledged to bring him up in the way he should go, to love, nurture and care for him...okay, I made that up), and service to Agape Flights and the missionaries and people we serve. The plan was for around 250 people to be in attendance. Agape got out the giant grills and served up pulled pork sandwiches, hamburgers, and hot dogs along with sides and cookies to the guests. The King Air got all dolled up and was on display, there were activities for the kids including coloring pages and paper airplane flying contests. A quartet led us in 2 hymns, The King is Coming and I'll Fly Away (someone was thinking!!), and Charlie spoke about the loss of the Caravan into the ocean over a year ago and how God has been so faithful to provide in the interim. We were blown away by over 500 guests that day! Everyone was so excited to see the Lord's provision.
We are SO richly blessed to be a part of this organization. Paul is busier than ever at the office and still feeling like he leaves further behind at the end of the day than he was at the beginning. New staff continue to be recruited and brought on board and we are so excited about that! Some administrative staff have been pursued and are in the support raising stages!! Praise the Lord! How can we thank our supporters enough for all you do that allows us to be here and be a part of this ministry?? We can't ever do it, but we will continue to remember that you have sent us here out of obedience to the Holy Spirit's prompting, and we will continue to lift you up in prayer and thanksgiving for you and your families. THANK YOU!

We love you all and we are hurting with you over the loss of Darryl Lindley. We pray for peace and comfort for his saintly wife Kathy. Darryl's booming voice and laughter will be missed greatly at Grace. He shared a special love for our children that touched our hearts deeply. We will always remember him with great fondness.
